Astronomia Star Maps started as a gift for a loved one. Now, it’s a gift to all of you wandering under the stars. Not just for star lovers, star maps are unique gifts or mementos that remind us that we are more than just a speck of dust in this universe – you are someone who the stars aligned for.
Astronomia is a small team always hunting for unique gift ideas. We are passionate about the arts and the stars. We founded Astronomia because the stars could be the greatest gift of space and time.
We use astrometric catalogs to come up with the position and movement of stars on a specific date and time with European Space Agency’s Hipparcos catalog as our primary reference. From the data sets extracted, we digitally paint the stars to come up with unique and aesthetic star maps.
